Our commitment to Care for Community (the 7th cooperative principle) means being adaptive to respond to changing needs. After two years of offering our Community Care Sundays, we are letting go of our 2nd-Sundays model and integrating Pay-What-You-Can services into our regular schedule. Metta Co-op has offered a Sliding Rate Membership since our inception in 2021. This membership is granted by application and gives you full access to your booking system and a fixed percentage discount on all services. This option is best for people with a limited, reliable income, who plan to book services regularly during the year.
In 2025, we introduced our Pay-What-You-Can service. Like our sliding scale services, this offering gives you access to our services at a lower-than-market-price point.
Unlike our Sliding Rate Membership, our PWYC service is not guarded by an application process - anyone can book - and there is no minimum payment required.
